With the release of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air series earlier today, Apple is reportedly implementing a new change to its retail practices as part of the company’s environmental goals. Get this, the tech giant is now no longer including any Apple logo stickers inside the box of the new iPads.

As reported by 9to5Mac which sighted a memo distributed by Apple to its Apple Store teams in the USA regarding the change, the company is doing so to ensure its packaging is completely plastic-free. However, Apple is shipping a limited quantity of Apple stickers to Apple Stores for distribution to customers who buy the new iPads, but only upon the customers’ request.

The report added that Apple doesn’t appear to be distributing stickers to other retailers though, so you can only get them at Apple Stores. Furthermore, when Apple Stores run out of stickers, they can order more from Apple.

It is unknown whether the change would affect other upcoming Apple products too or if the change is only being made in the USA. Logically though, the removal of stickers is likely to be implemented worldwide and for other new Apple products as well.
